Ned Carlson is a Managing Director of Dawntreader Ventures and has been with the team since its inception. Prior to Dawntreader Ventures, Mr. Carlson held various positions in the investment banking division of UBS Securities. During his time at UBS, Mr. Carlson advised technology clients on all facets of the capital raising and initial public offering process. Mr. Carlson holds a degree in government from Harvard College.
Mr. Carlson currently serves as a Director of Peer39 and Xora. Mr. Carlson is a former Advisor to the Board of MortgageIT (IPO, NYSE: MHL), and a former Director of InterSAN (acquired by Finisar, Nasdaq: FNSR), Colloquis (acquired by Microsoft, Nasdaq: MSFT), and ProactiveNet (acquired by BMC Software, NYSE: BMC).
